Gas Heating / Economisers

Prior to pressure reduction or after chilling in a refrigerative dryer, gas heating can often be required to supress gas dewpoint. Pressure Worx supply gas heaters and economisers to heat gas streams for this purpose.

In drying systems, following moisture removal, the gas enters a shell & tube economiser to reheat the gas to the desired temperature, using the heat from the incoming warm saturated gas stream as a heating source. This takes heat load off the chiller, providing improved package energy efficiency.  Gas heaters can be supplied as stand alone units or built into a larger process package.

Gas Turbines can operate better with warm gas. We provide Vertical U-Tube gas heaters to preheat the gas before entry into the turbine.
